platinum profiles set three - trainwreck clones
Here are two Ceriatone Trainwreck clones (one EL84 powered 'Liverpool', the other a EL34 powered 'Express') captured at the same time and place as my Platinum Profiles II set. Same vintage stock 1972 Marshall cab, Mics used were pretty simple:
Either a BeyerDynamic 160 ribbon mic, a Western Electric vintage '8 ball' mic, or a combination of the two, through an extremely rare and sought after RCA 'Les Paul owned' Tube preamp. Gain of these profiles range from a low of 2 to a high of almost 7, measured by the Rig Manager software. 13 EL34 and 12 EL84 profiles.
