Fuchs ODS XLS amp with custom Panama cabs 2x12
Here's a set of profiles with a unique twist: They are all of the clean channel of the Fuchs ODS XLS 75 amp, but are played through a new cab from a company called Panama cabs. This specific cab has the back opened up, and a pair of Celestion Alnico Blues speakers. Grill was removed for recording. Cabinet is constructed of spanish cedar, which is a tonewood used by many guitar builders. It's like mahogany. So not only does this cab feature some really awesome speakers, but it is oversided and also constructed of tone wood with a open back, making it great for a Fender style amp which is what the Dumble/Fuchs amps are based off of. Some Dumbles even used Fender transformers.
I also used three pedals to get a variety of awesome overdrive tones - an Ibanez TS9 that I modded, a stock Fulltone Fulldrive Mosfet, and a Voodoo Labs Giggity pedal.
Each profile is a combination of a mic on the back of the cab and a mic on the front. Mic combinations are:
MXL Ribbon mic in back with either a Heil PR20 or Shure SM77 in front.
e609 Silver mic in back with either a Shure SM57 or a Audix i5 in front.
Six different settings, four different mics each, 24 total profiles.
