FAQ and general info
I'm Pete. These are my profiles for sale. I've been a musician for over 30 years, and have gigged professionally (meaning I make money at it, not that I make my entire living) since the early 90s. After purchasing my Kemper in early 2012, I started profling my huge amp collection. While anyone with a Kemper and a mic and an amp can make profiles, I'm fortunate enough to own many amps and cabs, many microphones, and a great sounding home studio where I can turn amps up and create accurate profiles of the amps being captured.
Pete's Profiles is a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) based in Oklahoma. This is my passion and my full time business.

Why should I buy profiles here?
Well, listen to the clips. If you like the tones, you'll like the profiles! I have a variety of vintage and rare amps and cabs, and even a good selection of mics and preamps to capture them. I also own and use a Kemper for gigs and recording. I'm not a Studio guy, I'm an average guitar player just like most of you, wanting to get the best tones possible that work for a variety of situations. My new Platinum Profiles are created in a professional recording studio with rare and exciting gear, with an industry veteran.
What's up with the fx settings on the profiles?
My main focus is giving the user of these profiles accurate snapshots/tones of the amps in question. I do NOT 'cook' the profiles with inline EQs, or any other sonic chicanery. I could put a graphic EQ between the mic and profiles in the shape of a 'smile' and make every profile sound 'better' on it's own, or give you the true sound of the amp so if you want YOU can add that EQ, or do whatever with it. This includes fx in the presets - some profiles have many fx turned off, many have my personal preference of a boost in A, phaser in B, flanger in C, Wah in D, EQ/Boost for leads in X, chorus in Mod, and delay and reverb on. This is the 'baseline' set of fx I personally use live and I just tweak it from there for each profile. Of course, some tone match profiles do have some 'chicanery' going on with EQs and such to get a better match, ditto for effects when they are intrinsic to the basic tone.
OK, so what can I do with these profiles once I purchase or download them?
Make music! Enjoy them. If you use one of the profiles here for your hit record or gigs then It's awesome and glad to have helped! All I ask is do not resell or give these profiles away. This obviously includes 'new' profiles you create by taking these and making changes to them.
